Clearly costs on track for a real racing car are high, especially when it comes to the racing cars’ GT category “nec plus ultra”, the Ferrari 488 challenge Evo.
Racing car rental for a track day, what does it mean at T-MD?
To take advantage of the Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo in the best conditions, we focused on four international racetracks (2 of them FIA grade 1): Imola, Mugello, Misano.
These tracks offer technical characteristics able to satisfy the most demanding pilots.
From the pits to the track, nothing is left to chance.
You, pilot customer, are at the center of our attention.
Once in the pits, you will receive your FIA-compliant pilot set, including helmet with audio system and a fireproof equipment: suit, gloves and shoes.
With the organizers, but also the instructor, you receive a technical briefing that focuses on two essential aspects: performance and safety.
For the performance side, it is essential to understand the setting of the cornering trajectories and then implement them. They strongly affect efficiency on the track. As experienced pilots often say: it is better to sacrifice braking stronger to get out faster. Brake hard! The instructor offers you a critical analysis of the day’s racetrack, to familiarize you with Acque Minerali (Imola), the Bucine (Mugello), the Curvone (Misano)...
For the safety side, it is essential to respect the traffic lights, the flags of the marshals on the track, the red, the black, the oblique black and white, the yellow and red stripes! Your safety and that of others are at stake.
The engineers help you to adjust the collar (Hans) and fix the helmet. Seat down in the car, adjust the seat at the proper distance, fasten the six-point safety belt, turn on the engine, test the audio system with the instructor... You are ready to go out on the track!
Steering, gearbox, suspension, brakes, traction quickly establish a climate of trust. Whatever your background as a pilot, the multiple modulations of electronic assistance systems, the ABS and the traction control will speed up your adaptation time to the Ferrari 488 challenge Evo.
If the instructor tells you to brake ... press hard! If the instructor says go, go ... hit the accelerator! Performance and safety are a priority for us as well as it is for you: on board, compliance with the instructors’ and the technical team in the pits is of paramount importance.
Curves after curves, straights after straights, the succession of impressive braking and lightning-fast acceleration you will reach your Grail.
After your track session you review the telemetry, see your progress lap by lap and your area for improvement. If you booked two sessions implement it right away!
Have fun!
